Extra Rehearsal Ideas
As I said tonight in rehearsal, we cannot continue to function at the high level that we are used to with the limited rehearsal time we now have. If you have any ideas of how we can add extra time in the least invasive way possible, please let me know. ReplyDelete1. Once per month have an extended practice on Wednesday nights during family training hour. This gives us extra time and encourages teachers to get others involved in leading their classes on those nights. (Coordinate with youth as necessary...)
2. Plan a quarterly Saturday practice with lunch. Start at 10am and finish at 2pm. This gives us an extra 3.5 hours of practice per quarter.
Combine the ideas and we could get 26 hours of additional practice per year.
